Singing songs charged with a sense of social responsibility in a career spanning over 25 years Karan Casey has released eleven acclaimed albums as well and appeared on more than 50 albums in total. Her touring band reads like a who’s who of the highest tier of musicians. Over the past 30 years Niall Vallely has established himself worldwide as one of Ireland’s most significant musicians and composers. Born in Armagh and now resident in Cork, he recently received a PhD in composition from UCC where he continues to teach. Seán Óg Graham went to study music at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick, and has been playing professionally since. He has recorded 7 albums as a founder member of the world-renowned band ‘Beoga’. Also from that band, Niamh Dunne is a highly accomplished singer, fiddler and composer from Co. Limerick. She has also recorded a critically acclaimed solo album entitled “Portraits”.
