Seana and Stephen

Mayo-born Stephen Doherty began learning music at the age of 4 and through his teenage years began to accumulate numerous all-Ireland medals on whistle, bodhrán, drums and accordion. Seána Davey from Meath is the youngest of a family steeped music and began learning the harp and then piano, continuing her studies through the Royal Irish Academy of Music. She is a five-time All Ireland champion on the harp. Their subsequent individual accomplishments are simply too numerous to note but the pair had been fast friends (and collaborators) for many years before deciding to record a duo album of harp and flute music. Recorded with Tony O’ Flaherty at Sonas Studios in Killarney, they produced the (much lauded) Esdee Sessions. It is rare indeed for two master multi-instrumentalists to share a stage and rarer still for both to share such an intimate musical bond. Book right now to avoid disappointment.

Brid Harper & Arty McGlynn

Bríd is an Irish traditional fiddle player from Castlefinn, Co. Donegal and now living near Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. Encouraged by her parents she grew up learning and playing Irish traditional music with her sisters in the Finn Valley area. With music on both sides of the family she is carrying on the tradition of fiddle playing. She won numerous under-age All Ireland titles and other prestigious fiddle awards including the Senior All Ireland, Oireachtas na Gaeilge and Fiddler of Dooney. She has been hailed as one of the leading exponents of traditional fiddle playing of our time. Arty McGlynn is an Irish guitarist born in Omagh, County Tyrone. In addition to his solo work, he has collaborated with different notable groups such as Patrick Street, Planxty, Four Men and a Dog, De Dannan and the Van Morrison Band.
