Jack O'Rourke
The lone figure of Jack O'Rourke hunched over piano keys and moody synths, is one that Irish audiences are becoming more accustomed to seeing. Whether performing his startlingly honest ballads solo or driving Spectorish rock with his band, Jack's plaintive baritone, ethereal falsetto and piano are core. Over the last two years Jack has carved his own musical landscape and honed his songwriting voice with each successive release. Throughout 2016, Jack's singles -the alternative folk tune, "I'll forget you in the Morning" and the Bowiesque "Dreamcatcher" were radio favourites, playlisted on RTE Radio 1 and Red FM amongst others. Expect edgy baroque pop, plaintive ballads, noir blues and startlingly honest reflections on the world around him.

Sound of the Sirens

Exeter-based duo Abbe Martin and Hannah Wood dovetail beautifully on their debut album 'For All Our Sins', a beguiling acoustic pop collection replete with a rich lyrical sensibility. They have built their fan base not merely through several sublime EP releases, but also through their live shows, which combine a natural faility for connecting with their audiences and unforgettable performances predicated on energy, warmth, humour and, above all, real conviction. This is true whether Sound of the Sirens are playing the intimate environs of Exeter Cathedral, before tens of thousands at the Isle of Wright Festival or supporting Rick Astley on his UK arena tour. Drawing on diverse influences, including Bob Dylan, Ed Sheeran and Joni Mitchell. Sound of the Sirens want to both enlighten and entertain, and they want to do it with euphony. Prepare to be enthralled!
